Deep within the mists of Avalon,
there is an ancient woman,
   who sings a Siren's song

and far beyond the background
plays an ancient gong...
with resonating sound

They say, once upon an olden time
there lived in the Emerald Forest
A female creature so Divine...
sweeter than the sweetest rhyme;
that should you ever have the bliss
...to share her sweet & tender kiss
...that ALL the SECRETS of the universe
became yours...and nothing less.

One night, when walking in the forest deep...
a creature out at me did leap!
And, as the full golden moon,
my path did light...
a Fairy Princess came upon my sight
...such beauty before, I'd never beheld...
to my knees I was felled
Could this lovely Fairy be the Spirit
that creates fright...in the hearts of ordinary man?

Longingly, lovingly, at HER, I gaze...
my Joyful heart...all ABLAZE!
I amazed at a woman,
who with her smile alone...
could tame an entire nation!

Was it GOD that made this perfect creation!

In the Forest of the Night
I travel, NEVERMORE, having fright...
having seen for myself -
this wondrous being of LIGHT...

A GODDESS... a VISION...a sweet FAIRY-ELF!
Oh, it's my Angel self in the mirror
Shining back at me
My own sweet SOUL'S HIGHEST SELF!!

Might you see your way the mirror to me lend
That I might see in myself  one worthy to befriend.

Another thoughtful piece.
