... HeartSense ...

The sapphire sky begins its rest
As mist of rain caresses her breasts
Remembering times of yesterdays
When she was loved by him every day.

The sounds that echo thru mind
Are those of swooshing wheels outside
The feelings that stream thru heart
Are those of love that grew apart
The sights that seen thru eyes of green
Are those of what could have been

The amber sun begins its slow rise
As crisp the air a new day resides
She opens door and to her surprise
Discovering a new world outside.

The sounds that echo thru mind
Are those of crickets and morn sparrows in flight
The feelings that stream thru heart
Are those of love who know her well
The sights that seen thru eyes of green
Are those of what her life can now be.

CocoBaci~

This is such a pretty opening line -

'The sapphire sky begins its rest'

I enjoyed this.

Coco...very nicely written...I especially liked...She opens door and to her surprise
discovering a new world outside...a little hope there.

Coco, you know this has been the first poem I have read of yours in a long while. I missed you and your poetry. This was beautiful, sensual and graceful.

I find a peace when I come on line and read such beauty and love of life.
The screen tv is my safe place where I may partake in sharing with you expression and thought.
More importantly receiving the gift of many a pleasant night read you poet friends give to me.

I'd say thank you in ten languages if I knew but for now accept my gracious Merci n Grazi if you would

"She opens door and to her surprise
a brand new world is found outside."
This is the way I felt when I let go of a hopeless love and decided to go on with my life...It is always there if we allow our eyes to see it and our heart to feel it..James
