...
And the rains come
watering the dry arid land.
They wash away the forgotten bones,
and they wash away the forgotten sins.

I once was forgotten,
or maybe just mistaken.
It’s hard to say right now just
which one it might have been.

OH! BUT HAVE NO FEAR MY FRIENDS,

I found salvation in the television
on that lovely channel animal planit.
Yes, those animals live  free,
those animals live without sin.

I’m not so sure just
how I was remembered.
Consciousness has only recently
been a factor in my dreams.

BUT I HAVE THE GIFT OF CREATIVE INTERPRITATION,

Leaving me, unavoidably with
imperceptible, imperishable impurities.
I can’t forget anything,
I can’t forget those bones.

So bring it down on me
wash me away like the dust!
Take these visions from my eyes,
bring the rain.

THEN AGAIN,  MAYBE I’VE JUST BEEN MISTAKEN.

Just an effigy to be disgraced,
to be defaced.
Your need for me has been replaced.

"...CREATIVE INTERPRITATION"

...you certainly have. Enjoyed reading this.

".../And the rains come" What a beautiful beginning. "I was once forgotten, or maybe just mistaken." Heh. Very Very nice. "I found salvation in the television/on that lovely channel animal planit" WHOOAH. Nice. (but, ah, it's PLANET). You also mispelled interpretation. Nice read, nice rhythm, strikingly beautiful images.
