I can see the pain in your eyes
I can hear the hurt in your voice
Come to me my darling.
Let my love shelter you
From everything that is wrong
Let me hold you in my arms
Let me soothe away the fears
That haunt your precious soul
Let me fill your heart with love
Instead of the sorrow I see in you now
Let me hold you close in my arms
And offer you the comfort you need
Let me take away the pain
Let me make you forget
And let me make you remember
The strength of our love
That will guide you through
All your trials and tests
That your life seems to hand you now
Most of all, let me give you me.
