You think that what it stands for
       really comes as no surprise...
A subject without fortitude, or message,
              or disguise...
      To other folks, un-poet-like,
         it just means having fun...
          But to a Passion Poet,
               ~~R~n~R~~
             is number one...

               ~~R~n~R~~
          is quite addictive,
       like a legal, potent high...
It can bring you up or down,
Then make you laugh, or make you cry...
      At times it's perfect therapy,
At times it's quite a game...
    The cause is changing constantly,
         Effects can be insane...

No matter what you're searching for
        the answer can be found...
In words that flow at varied speed,
     like geisers from the ground...
You take it in--awash your soul,
      Through weary, bleary eyes...
Then spit out all the unused parts
     your brain just can't surmise...

In case I haven't made my thoughts
           ridiculously clear...
There really is some meaning to what
         I've been writing here...
The first ~~R~~ stands for reading...
All these words are for your eyes...
           But the second ~~R~~,
           (That which I crave)
      Stands for your great replies!!!!

Taking time to read the words
written between each taut line
Taking time to wipe some tears
with kind words that warm like wine
Taking time to find a phrase
or to pen one of our own
Taking time to cheer a heart
and to make them feel at home

Some T's n T's to join your RnR

Lovely sentiments you have expressed S1

Sunny thank you, R 'n' R obviously stands for rise and respect. So a standing ovation, or a quick rendition of thank you very much for the poets and phrases.

Oh so true. I get sad when I don't get many replies
Funny how something can become important in your life, so easily.
Another gem of writing.

Hi Sunny,
What a perfect way of putting words to a thank you for a reply. I sometimes wonder how you just keep writing one after the other, and they are all great!
