Do you dream
Like I dream,
Of happily ever after
A world without hunger,
without povery and war?

Do you think
Like I think,
About peacefulness amoung men
True love for everyone
and happiness for all?

Do you feel
Like I feel,
That everyone is made equal
God makes no mistakes
and happiness can be created not just acquired?

Do you love
Like I love,
The way the sun looks when it's setting
The calming effect of a lake
and staring at a blanket of stars?

Do you want
Like I want,
To become sucessful yet still humble
To see all the worlds wonders
and still feel content coming home?

Do you dream like I dream
Of a world without questions
and humanity as a whole instead of a basket of minorities
Do you dream.....?

Martini, to quote a signature that I saw earlier on this site...

"A dream is a wish your heart makes" - Kay-lynn Carew

Yes, I think we all dream those dreams

jeffrey

i love that quote....

I believe we all dream those dreams, this was definately a rhetorical question, and really it was aimed at one specific individual who I wonder on certain days if he does have dreams and hopes....

thanks for the response

Nicely done!  I like the way you describe what nearly everyone wants... now if only we could take action to make those dreams and hopes come true!

For all those lost souls that can no longer find it within them to dream and can not find any desire in life I feel truely sad.  It is hard to watch someone with no fight left in them and especially when they are close to us.  We so desperately try to understand.  Excellent write Steph.  Wonderful thoughts and superbly put together.   SO GLAD to have you back among us.
