A dream...
Or was it a dream?
Was it a trick of the mind?
I do not know
I am unsure
Is it?
Or is it not meant to be?
Tendrils of what may be a dream
Slipping through my fingers
Leaving me with doubt

What I see is a love trying to blossom and one or both of the involved are unsure as to whether or not to let go of their fears.  I see one ready to grasp and take the chance and the other still holding back.  I may be way off base here and if I am then so it is.  Either way I liked the verse and your promise as a poet already shines.
