In my hands this candle I hold The story of a love yet untold A telling of heart I once knew The main characters, me and you Ours was a love of which poets sang Wherever it was told, the words truly rang Rang with a true, powerful, gentle knell This was the love of which they would tell The candle still burns in spite of the rain No harsh wind can extinguish the flame Telling always of the love we share Burning in my heart, this flame so rare. . . -------------------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |
