Here the wind always blows
Chasing away intrepid clouds
Playing in the hidden gullies
Soughing through tumble-down houses
Recalling the time when someone tried
But they were not the wind
And never learned to fly
And so failed
And so died

Here the wind always blows
Fluttering the robes
Of angels dancing through the dust
Where dervish armies march in time
With the ever-present wind
Soaring high to tint the sky
For those who learned to fly
Upon the wings
Of poetry

As I sit here dimly thinking
Watching modem lights a-blinking
Churning out poetic hash.
Lord, in all Your piety,
Help me keep my sanity:
Please don't let the modem crash! --Alicat

poetic winds blow
grants wings to a poets soul
allows us to fly free

poetic winds blow
whispers softly to my heart
reflects in my tears

poetic winds blow
sweet verses of devotion
promises of love

poetic winds blow
echos of love left behind
memories to hold

There are places inside our souls -
that have never been touched.
There are places inside our hearts -
that need to be loved this much.
