State of constant confusion!

0 posted 2000-08-07 08:17 PM

Sitting here crying
Thinking of you
So far away
Making me  blue

Wanting to hold you
And feel your heart beat
Whispering softly
My heart on my sleeve

I look into your eyes
And I can see love there
You pull me closer
To tell me you care

Breathing my name
On whispered sigh
Heart skips a beat
Passion so high

The rest of the world
Just vanished from sight
Knowing this love
Can only be right

Awakened from dream
Lonely again
Placing my heart
In the palm of your hand

I've never felt
This feeling before
Wanting to hold you
For evermore

List'ning to sad song
Of a mourning dove
Sending me visions
Of unrequitted love

I long to hold you
Ever so tight
Make sweet love to you
All through the night

I say a prayer
As I whisper your name
A simple wish
That you feel the same

***********************

Goddddd, Ain't love grand?

Yearning to hold is a powerful emotion that I know all to well. I hope that all of your dreams do come true Mr. Carter. Just know this...a heart that is true can over come any obsticle and any pain. Good luck.

When you are old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shodows deep;

How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face...

Jeffrey,

This was so soft, tender, and romantic my friend.  I hope she likes it and hears the message behind it.  **SIGH**  Wonderful writing!!

Love can be grand indeed. This so tender so open with your emotions. All I can say is your "inspiration" who ever it may be is very lucky indeed.
Warm smiles to you.

A true poet. (sigh)  Wish I could put magic into words like that.  I'm sure she's reading this now and smiling quietly to herself while a tremble incircles her heart.  She's very lucky indeed.
