There was a time...
the uncertainty of life
cut through me like a knife
and troubled my mind.

There was a day...
I didn't know which way to turn,
which bridges I should burn.
I could not find my way.

There was a time...
when worry etched my brow.
I didn't know what I know now.
Peace, I could not find.

Then there was you...
You took the trouble from my soul.
I was suddenly made whole.
You knew exactly what to do.

Then there was love...
All the security that I need,
from your strength, my soul did feed.
You were sent from up above.

Now there is peace...
I close my eyes and I can soar
high in the sky like never before.
There are no more boundaries.

Now there's a chance...
My heart you some how saved.
A magic wand you must have waved.
You taught me how to dance.

So now I must say...
You're the answer to my prayer.
True love is oh so rare
in this world today.

This is my Thank you...
for all that you've done for me.
You're living proof for all to see
that dreams really do come true.

With tears in my eyes
I write this reply
How this made me sigh
Love's boundary surpasses the sky

Hi Angel,
Yes indeed, true love can surpass many boundaries of hurt, loniness, etc. You have done very well with this poem that you have written.

You have captured the lonliness of absense of love and the elation once it is obtained. Well written and so happy I got to read this one.

Angel, This could only be penned from experience, this is gold. I loved how you took me through the stages of this love affair (made in heaven). This will make him beam!  marcy

Reading this has just made me so emotional....so happy for you.  Love can cut deep, yet it also heals that same cut. Love is an amazing thing as you have captured so beautifully in this poem.

Yay!  Hope and love triumphs once again, as it always should!  You illustrated how hope and love can overcome anything beautifully... nicely done! :0
