Drinkers  Tale
~~~
My  mind  was  in  a  haze
back  in  the  early  days
splashing  through  the  waves  of  cyberspace
Passed  out
beneath  a  tree
at  Passions  in  Poetry
A  polecat  snuggled  neatly
on  my  face
~
As  I  snoozed  beside  the  trail
snoot  buried  beneath  a  tail
A  poet  serene
was  devilishly  heard  to  say
Let's  scare  the  brute  beside  him
so  his  odor  will  emphasize  him
Hearing  this  the  skunk  got  up
and  raced  away
~~~

I wouldn't say that I thought you were crazy ... but I kind of figured that you were a
'Game Contestant'
with a fine sense of humour
