A Tear Kissed Dawn

D awn slips on in
A s the moon disappears
W akens with daylight
N ight's lost in it's "mares".

A tear kissed me, today
surprised me this morn
as a poem was rising,
a new one now born.

You kissed me with words
as tender as you
and then from inside
a tear your thoughts drew.

Just one in my eye
the left one, I think
my head had been tilted
in daydreams, to sink.

The desires and needs
all the wanting to feel
words "tear kissed" me, yours
for I know they meant real.

When the kiss of the moment
reaches lips waiting full
I can feel your draw near me
Each tear kiss you pull.

In the moonlight I'm passioned
but when dark's been consumed
I wait for the dawning
To erase all that's gloomed

This is lovely in every sense of the word.  Enjoyed it much.

thanks  for the  approval..sometimes one  wants to use another's inspiration or spirit in a poem and  the pouting princess proved to be  she was the opposite... a Dawning Princess

Now if you had made the entire thing acrostic I think I would have just given up and began chanting.... we're not worthy. You are a very talented lady.

Ok jamie..now ya done it..I was  told about a double acrostic where the first letters and the end letters each spell one half of the title....now I am going to work on that just for you...if I can only come up with a good title now.....hmm..well you will see ..then I will challenge you to do one...
~~soft hugs...you are making this lots of  fun for me...my shadow
