      “TREASURED MOMENTS”

I know of this place in the mountains,
That’s way up high in the sky.
It overlooks the green valley,
Where we can watch the eagles fly.

Together we could see the sunrise,
Coming up in the east far away.
Holding hands together, as we stand there,
Touching, in the early morning of the day.

Your lips are moist like the morning dew,
Ruby red and soft, just like a rose.
I can still see you standing there,
Just like an eloquent picture pose.

I held you so tight, as we embraced,
And we became lovers, like Romeo and Juliet.
I still remember that first time we kissed,
Your soft lips I won’t ever forget.

A tear suddenly welled up inside me,
And came down my face so wet.
Because I found that I was only dreaming,
When I opened my eyes with regret.

Now that my eyes are open,
I know that you are so far away.
If I were to only see you,
It would be a very special day.

This would be a romance made in heaven,
And it’s for only you and I.
Let’s take our special moments,
And pray we would never say goodbye.

One year I could promise you happiness,
Will you consider five, or maybe more?
Let me love you totally,
That’s all I would ever ask you for.

Bill...
I can't even express how beautiful
your words are....they are so loving
and gentle, but given from a heart that
    is strong and true.

          Romance isn't dead....
it gave it's soul to you!!!!

I have but one goal in
life.........
To make you smile!

Shucks Sunny...
I'm not only blushin', as usual, but fussin' too, as your so gracious words touch me once again.

Yes, you are so right, my soul does belong to romance, the wonderment that it is.

Bill

Very romantic poem with tons of feelings everywhere.  I just love the following words:

One year I could promise you happiness,
Will you consider five, or maybe more?
Let me love you totally,
That’s all I would ever ask you for.

Sounds like to have a heart just bursting with love.
