A
Young
Girls life
Shattered into
A million pieces
Her innocence taken
Forcing her to grow up
Way faster than she should
Missing the small childhood joys
Every child has a given right to have
And now as she struggles to find all the
Many different small pieces of her broken life
Trying to repair the damage done, one piece at a time
She stands with her head up high, knowing she will be ok
Having undying faith in the strong love that surrounds her being
And the peace and happiness she knows she will find, one day at a time.

Hi rosepetals,
You are simple amazing. An excellent poet writing with your heart, different styles of formatting, and words that I can't find the words to describe. Goodness girl, when is the next one coming out?

Rose, I don't know what happened to the littel girl that hurt her so but I remember something happened to me when I was younger, it took some time in fact many years before I could fully put the past behind me. A wonderfully written poem.

"To the centre of the
city where all roads
meet, waiting for you,To the depths of the ocean where all hopes sank,
searching for you," Joy divison

RosePetals~
The strength of your structure
lies in the very foundation of your soul.
You have shown a tender awareness to get
beyond the entrapment of childhood terror.

Lovely heart-rendering statements.

Be proud - be happy !
One small step at a time -
forward you go !

Forward ever - backward never
within yourself - your future lies.

And a *hug* !

This was very touching Rosepetals. Such sadness, and yet what a wonderfully positive feel I am left with, that there is light and hope in the future. Very nicely penned and a lovely format that compliments your thoughts so well.

Best wishes,
/Kit
