The first light's creeping
it's revealing
my true feelings
out of the night.
It's just that moment
a special moment...the time's right.
I reach out for you
and I explore you
one more time.

Why go on sleeping
the new day's fleeting
and life is calling
we can get high.

Let's make sweet love
bathe in the warmth of sweet love
the time is right for it
let's make romance
and fly away with it.

Let's do it up right
and make love in the new light
precious we know it is
where we can fly
when we make love like this

We'll fly to the sun with each other
on the wings of sweet love we'll discover.

Let's make sweet love
bathe in the warmth of sweet love
now is the time for it
the day is young
let's make sweet love.

let's make sweet love.........

Wonderful and lifting write.  Your words tie together so nicely as send this romantic imagery our way......and you are right those early morning sessions are the best.

Beautiful ethome.
Nothing quite like early morning romantic encounters

ooooooooohhhhhhhh my sweet E...if this dont
read like a tune BEGGING to be sung by Van.... none ever will
LOOOOVE this verse!!!!

my turn to give you a tune....

Crazy Love

I can hear her heart beat for a thousand miles
And the heavens open every time she smiles
And when I come to her that's where I belong
Yet I'm running to her like a river's song
Chorus:
She give me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She give me love, love, love, love, crazy love

She's got a fine sense of humor when I'm feeling low down
And when I come to her when the sun goes down
Take away my trouble, take away my grief
Take away my heartache, in the night like a thief

Yes I need her in the daytime
Yes I need her in the night
Yes I want to throw my arms around her
Kiss her hug her kiss her hug her tight

And when I'm returning from so far away
She gives me some sweet lovin' brighten up my day
Yes it makes me righteous, yes it makes me feel whole
Yes it makes me mellow down in to my soul

Marge what an exuberant reply! I loved it thanks Marge...I can't tell you to be good because I don't want you to be.

Janet..I love that song I love how he changes his voice to make it so mellow and what great lyrics...thanks for your comment sweet poetess always welcome.

Moonchild you can borrow whatever you want and I hope you find a way to bathe in the warmth of some sweet love.

Now I've got to let you all in on the funny part of this poem.
I was feeling quite amourous one morning and I wrote this poem....well, I took it right back to the bedroom and woke her up to read it to her...well, she looked at me with those beautiful sleepy green eyes that I have become so familiar with and then she reached up and pulled my face down to hers, planted the most beautiful kiss on my lips and said, "that's why I love you so much dear!" then she rolled over and went back to sleep. What could I do ?? I'd been outsmarted again!
