Where was the light.

I put a rope around my neck and jumped.
My last thoughts was at my mother,
how sad she would be.
But I didn't cared, I wanted to leave it all.

Then I died.
All went black.
I was dead for 10 minutes.
Where is the light?

I remember I woke up, seeing doctors and nurses running around.
They said I should be glad that I was still alive.
But all I could think of was "Where was the light?".
Did I miss it?
Maybe I blinked?

Now a few months later I'm glad I'm alive,
but I still got the question in my head.
"Where was the light?"

Where is the light you ask up above with the angels there to stay, also the light is here which God made day for us the gaze upon. Look deep within and you will see that happiness begins with you and there is the light. The light from above was not your time to be in your given a second chance which few ever get so open your eyes upon a brand new world that has never shined so brightly. Not only the sun but the moon as well. Thank you for sharing
