( to the tune of CAMELOT )

George Bush tells you that he can be your saviour
Though how he plans to do it isn't clear.
He seems to have a problem with behavior.....
BALLADEER!!!!

Nobody knows what Al Gore really stands for.
He only tells you what you want to hear
So let's all stomp our feet and clap our hands for...
BALLADEER!!!!

Balladeer! Balladeer!
The choice of poets nationwide!
Balladeer! Balladeer!
With his friend LongJohn at his side!

Right wing - left wing..is this a chicken dinner?
Is Colonel Sanders slated to appear?
A Happy Meal can be the only winner....
BALLADEER!!!!

They say elections are the "silly season"
Well, they will find no disagreement here.
It's time for rhyme with just a touch of reason...
BALLADEER!!!!

So, come on, Passion's poets, raise your voices.
It's time to send our message loud and clear.
Although it is remote
I really need your vote
So raise your frosty beer
And toast a cheer
To
Bal
la
deer!

You've got my vote!!! Seriously! If we could elect Balladeer and LngJhn, just think of how much fun the country would be...3 day work weeks! And no one could work on a day when the golf courses are open!

Ok.....it looks like you two have hopped
on the old bandwagon, and if that's
true, then you need my keyboard to keep
    you in tune!!!!!!!!
           Actually....you would definitely
    get my vote....that's more logical
than what we're facing now!! Ha!!

I have but one goal in
life.........
To make you smile!

Here in rural western New York
Frosty beer glasses are raised,
For naming LongJohn & Balladeer,
The Passionate Party is praised!!!

The slogans may be a little slurred,
But they stumble out in rhyme,
I think I heard Colonel Sanders shout
The "pashhhionate" ticket is prime.....

~~Others were singing "American Honky Tonk Bar Association"....I don't know why???~~

A bug man and a pirate, in the white house??
well we have had a lot worse
I cant wait to hear your acceptence speech
for it will be a grand political poetic verse
With Long John at your side...
I know you two will take this country far..
but just do as all a favor 'Deer..
keep that pirate away from Monica and her cigar

Yeah!  And unlike Balladeer, I'm young enough that if anything happens to him (like an errant "psssst" from his bug wand) I'll be able to step right in.  Just a heartbeat away... isn't that what they say?

'Deer - you are one crazy guy, yanno?  And these responses are a real riot!  All of you are so great with your wit.  Thank you for your endorsements.

uh oh.  See a little problem.  There HAS to be a first lady, there just HAS to be! Since I don't look like and wouldn't play like Monica [ahem, at least, I wouldn't be an embarrassment...]if you guys don't care that I climb up on the bandwagon to run alongside with ya, then who do you suppose we should nominate for such an INTELLIGENT job? I mean, someone has to pick out the china...

How did I miss this one? This is great! I don't know the Camelot melody, but I still liked the poem. Now, just wait 'til Election Day!

Hi you guyz, I have a different scenario for my voting ..

Balladeer you're the esteemed governor general
LongJohn you'd be the respected prime minister

Well, although I'm on the wrong side of border can my vote not count for something ...

Regards,
Coco
