You Still Come Around
~*Marge Tindal*~

Though you may be long gone
For you had to move on
You still come around in my dreams

In moments of slumber
into my thoughts you wander
You still come around in my dreams

You're not really here
but the memories are near
cascading you into my dreams

In quietude of nightly scenes
you move so softly through my dreams

Awakening with the fear
you are no longer here
I retreat to the land of my dreams

My comfort is found
having you still around
Welcome to the land of my dreams

*Inspired by JMLee12345's 'In Dreams'
Thank you, my friend.

Marge.. those dreams keep coming around and the effect they have is unconditional with the heart....the heart rules in the land of dreams where it's just a step between reality and the dreams of the heart.

Wonderful writing Marge! You got it right!

Hold's breath and reads again...

"In quietude of nightly scenes
you move so softly through my dreams"

Oh boy.....

Why couldn't I think of that instead of only dreaming it?..

Superb lines here Marge, superb !

Like you, I'm dreaming with my eyes wide-open.

Well, there I was, Marge, in your dreams, just floating overhead
While staring at your loveliness there lying on the bed
Your vision made my spirit rise to see you stretched out there.
It rose so much I had a hard time floating in the air!!!

I wanted to drop from the air and settle by your side
Then put my arms around you, dear, and take you for my bride
And tell you you're the only one that my heart will adore
But I am forced to say instead, "Forget it, Marge! You snore!!!"

But that's only if someone notices I'm looking... Then I'm kinda caught. Good work "M" you still got that touch. I just finished the "e" and will get it off to you tonight or tomorrow.

Marge,
THis was lovely. Dreams are wonderful things, a place to relive  memories and you captured this so well.

Marge has no fear of losing her muse
Not even miss it when it takes a hike
It is the muse of life the one she will use
And pen a beauty...one we all will like

Wisdom and grace are close to her hand
Wit and fun join in her little dance
To write a verse that will sweep the land
All she needs is a moment to chance.

Your dreams have got to keep you awake at night.....they seem so busy and your muse is like a scout....searching into even the smallest of things....(carpet samples for one)LOL

The dreams do take us where we want to be, don't they ?
Thank you for your reply.

Lucky~
Hi, luv.  Good to see you in the hours of
your musing.
Will anticipate the 'e'...

Elizabeth~
Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed.
You know me ...
it flies to the page and there it lays.
It finds it's own pattern.
Glad it appeals to you.

Tess~
Seems that 'dreams' are the plans of the
night ...
waiting for a place to happen.
Thanks for enjoying.

Linda~
Oh, so pleased to be your breakfast companion.
Thank you.

James~
We always need someone to feed our inspiration.
I'm pleased to know you enjoyed it.
I may never have had that particular thought had I not found it in your poem.
Thank you again.

MarkB~
LOL @ your wit !
And your talent.  Thank you, my friend.
Gosh, Mark ... I don't have time to 'search'
for inspiration, as the muses keep bringing me more than I can handle.
But, you know I love the morsels I find
and am so happy to be able to share them.
*Hugs* to you !

Marge...like me..I don't think you ever run out of poetry...it's our minds that just have to keep on the move..and everything around us can inspire and create in us a want to express...kind of a lovely thing to have inside us isn't it?

What sweet comments.
I hope that you find much hope in
the dreams that greet your night ...

I love dreamy thoughts ... day or night.
And that 'reality' thing ... is just gonna
have to come along for a ride on my dreams.

Thanks for your wonderful reply.

Chase the dream, never let it die..
Without a dream your soul is denied
No matter the hurt sorrow or pain
A dream will always make you whole again.

Hey Marge, beautiful poem!! This rubbishy verse is an adaption from the second poem I ever wrote, hence the pathetic-ness!!!
But I really loved this poem of yours,
Just like I LOVE dreams!!!
