Scars of psyche commemorates
The impact of another’s molestation
Her soul decaying into solitude
A heart chokes on bile without reply
As his questions persist without mercy

There could be no love from him now
With her purity taken and victimized
Her tongue silent offering no account
The warmth of her lover’s touch pangs
As she drifts subconsciously away

He will walk to her side
bothered by some some iterpretation
of what he thinks he needs to say
of what he needs to be at this time
of being human and a man.

He touches her at a distance
unable to overcome the silent barages
that accompany his forlorn heart
his soul taken and abused
as he sees his love unconsious of him.

oooooohhhhhh very cool you guys...
cryptic and angst ridden...
very cool indeed...

The warmth of her lover’s touch pangs
As she drifts subconsciously away

He will walk to her side
bothered by some some iterpretation

Thank you Jan.  We had fun putting this together.  Glad you liked it.  Perhaps a touch of both of us here.

Wonderful you two.....the haunting of life's little paths we choose often grow to enormous lengths and unfortuantely most of the time it is not the good paths that do so.

Really liked this alot.   Two thumbs up

Ah this is wonderful! I compliment you both.
Just excellent how you have depicted the emotions of these two lovers......and the title grew up as I read this great poetry.
