Arms of Knowing

With soft sighs caressing
wanton whispers along satin skin,
passion’s breath fuels desire.
Night drapes in shades of shadows
silken memories of her tender touch.
Deep shudders softly pulse
night’s thrumming rhythm
as souls seek to merge.
Arms of knowing caress reach
to enfold with heated embrace,
carrying to intimate heights
minds who dare to touch again.
Hazel eyes close memory's mind.
Essence bathes every sense
as two join side by side
and breathe again dark freedom
breaking finally from night’s grasp.
Giving with inherent need
as dawn claims a day once more,
ecstasy finds release.
In the clutch of a breath
deeply drawn.
