When I was the most blue
God chose and sent me you.

A hope which glowed
A miracle flowed.

Sent from heaven above
To remind me how to feel love.

Tears of truth
You touched my youth.

Smiles of endearment
A voice of procurement.

Blue satin eyes
Wisdom beyond the wise.

A destiny's gate
A miracle of fate.

Sent to make me feel
Found in me a soul to heal.

Gave me hope to rise above
Your heart filled with only love.

Memories cherished
A dream perished.

And now you're gone from view
But left me with my heart anew.

....

lovely sentiments here ... sort of sad... but then the last word gives a sign of hope...

OH fellow Gemini..you write my heart with this one...
gifts of an angel for sure...
I know of this you speak of...
beautiful verse and tribute...truely
soulmates never leave our hearts ...
take care
jm

There are places inside our souls -
that have never been touched.
There are places inside our hearts -
that need to be loved this much.

Janet Marie-Thank you for reading and your understanding, a soul mate he was and is, as he remains in my heart.

I loved those two lines, I hope one day I feel the last one. I liked this very much.

Sentimental sadness ending with much hope.  This was a lovely piece and I enjoyed it much.

Gemini~
When love enters and leaves us with
fond remembrances and a renewed spirit ...
we are so fortunate.

A lovely telling this is.
