I don't know
if I could ever get you here
I don't know
if I could make it more clear
How I feel
your my heart beating away
How I need you
keep the lonely nights at bay.

I don't know
if you made the right choice
I don't know how to answer
with tears in my voice
It's not over
between two souls like you and me
The time is coming
when we'll wonder about destiny.

Come closer my love
it's the hand that comforts you
Come closer to me now
my arms are open too
And the rythem of the rain
that flows inside of us
Will always be our song
of how we loved and never lost.

"I don't know how to answer
with tears in my voice"

Michael,
So much of the state of loving lies in accepting the unknown...faith, I believe it's called. Wonderfully written, this.
