Keep your head above the clouds,
and ride the storm out
When the rain is gone, we can go out and play
Running free, climbing trees
Nothing to bother, this sacred parade
Wind storm of leaves,
dancing in circles tickling my knees
Hold my hand, and set me free
Clear your head, and ease your pain
Damp thoughts, draining in me
Like holding back the water, bursting in the sea
Something not to stop, a naturalistic dream
Baking in the sun, drying in the wind
Crying in my heart, screaming in my veins
Confused by myself, losing at all costs
Smiling for nothing, laughing is not sane
Living in darkness, seeking just to gain
A day in the light, without the rain
Will the clouds pass, and clear this lane
Reaching a star, and easing my brain
Hoping this thought, could break the day
For all I wanted, was time away

Hello Courtney, I loved this very good piece..it was very creative and expressive. Thanks for sharing.

P.S. I 'm sorry to say that Heavy Mental (Part 2) won't be on this board due to problems with my computer (damn) but, I thank you very much for posting a response on there.

Thanks,
        Nathan
