A Little Prayer

Lord, I would walk today
in your presence
with no question
as even my inner eye declares
I need to “let it go”
and I am thus disposed
to give it all up to you
so that my mind won’t ponder
and wander
through trials ~
that I may stay
attentive
on what it is I need to do today
and in your hands
I lay this burden
so that I may address other issues
and take care of other lives
and their attendant difficulties.

Lord, let me thank you for giving me
this opportunity to give up
to you my burden.

Amen

Karilea~
This is just the most beautiful prayer
to light upon my heart ....
Sent at just the right moment ...
by just the right angel !

*Hugs* and thanks, my spirit friend.

I think, m'friend, that no prayer, when spoken from the heart, could ever be "little."

(And, is THAT how you get rid of stress? )

This little prayer speared my soul and settled there comfortably, and so now I can just look at today

Sunshine,

Thank you for posting this one.  Exactly what I needed to hear today.

Sunshine,
You are very beautiful inside to write like this. I'm touched by writings that I have read of yours, and I am now on my way to read "After The Prayer".
