Sometimes
I don't understand myself
The simple act of letting go
What I never had
Turns out to be an unsolvable task
And it hurts
Piercing my heart
Like a rain of blank sharp needles
Hard to run from
I'd be best hiding in rage
Escape myself into fury
Trying so desperately to hate you
Just to forget how much you mean to me

Time will mend all wounds, Jenova and the hatred will become less evident...

Have patience....

All in all a well written poem...
Well done!

regards,
sudhir

Pain makes great poetry, I live there myself. I love your poem.

it is often too easy to lose yourself in hate...and pain does help enrichen our souls....but never give up on finding a safer, warmer, more positive place to dwell! this is a very good poem indeed!

Jenova,
Letting go, as I know, is a very hard thing to do. Choices can be made, but letting go, ahh, very difficult thing to do. Very nice thoughts in your work.
