****just wanted to say on this joyful day, happy Imbolc to those here in the southern half..and happy Lammas to those in the northern half! Blessed Be to all!****

She has blessed this parchment and pen
and given me divine inspiration
She has healed my wounds that lay within
By nurturing and unleashing my imagination

The windows are warmed by blessed candlelight
And the winter begins its melt towards spring
And the fire in my soul burns strong and bright
All gifts sweet Brighid doth bring

The days lay close when gardens soon grow
For today her womb carries the seeds
Her union with Sun will bring a new glow
That will release the Earth from her freeze

So if you be poet,or healer, or smith
May your hands and heart be  blessed
Be thankful for all your bountiful gifts
And your muse shall never take rest!

So mote it be!
