I lay here alone, on this rainy dark eve
My troubled thoughts surround me, Why won't they leave?
The crossroads in my life, have now finally come
I know I must pick one as I can have only "one"
But it's not that easy, to know which to take
As I have to live with the choice that I make

I loved one yes, I know this forsure
but left for the pain I could not endure
We have been apart for many months, living all the same
The time then came for him to visit, Am I glad he came?
My little boys, who missed him so, How their eyes lit up
When they saw their Daddy pull in the drive, in such a big black truck
The time then came for our eyes to meet
and suddenly I felt so incomplete
He says he has changed to be the man I require
Can this be true? For this is all I desired.
Now all these questions, decisions to make
Would it be for love, or for the children's sake?
Years we were together five plus three
Was it all for nothing? Was it ment to be?

IN THIS TIME WE WERE APART
I MET ANOTHER WHO STOLE MY HEART:

Such a beautiful man, inside and out
I know I love him, I have no doubt
For all I ever needed he gave to me with ease
Feeds my emotions, how his words do please
He has given me the completness of which I have desired
My heart, my soul, my body, he has set them all on fire
I breath him, I do, like my body needs air
Incredible green eyes, I am lost in his stare
I can see our future, I can see it so clear
a single touch he takes away my fears
When I speak his name it makes me weak
I could not loose him he is all I have seeked
When I am with him I see the world in color
Have I found my soul mate, as well as my lover?
He loves my boys even wrote them a story
showed them his true self in all of his glory
So gentle he is he would never harm them
I know if they met him they would love him

I SEE MY FUTURE WITH BOTH, FOR DIFFERENT REASONS
LORD
GRANT ME THE WISDOM TO MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION.

Reminds me of the song, Torn Between Two Lovers.

I sure could feel your inward emotions getting all tangled up. Good writing. I hope you make the decision that will make YOU happy. Know what I mean, can't please eveybody.

I look forward to more of your work.

jm

There are places inside our souls -
that have never been touched.
There are places inside our hearts -
that need to be loved this much.

Welcome to passions and I must say that you make one heck of a first impression.  This is a wonder piece and I applaud you.  I will be looking for more of your beauties and if this is the norm than I shall be treated to many delights.

I do not envy you...what a difficult situation...I can't even imagine how hard it must be...but this is such an exeptional expression of how you feel...

Good luck to you...

I love the time
and in between
the calm inside me
in the space
where I can breathe...
