Come  lay your head
   here on my shoulder
Hold your body close
   to mine
Feel our hearts beat to
   the rhythm
Of a lovers lullabye.

Sweet surrender in the
   moonlight
Tender sighs from
   pleasured lips
Honeyed warmth and
   satin treasures
As we play this lullaby.

Trembling fingers touch
   your body
Learning pleasure lost
   from sight
Meld together in
   the silence
Hoping that we get
   this right
Learning to love
   once again
As we play this lullabye.

Thanks Jeff

Hey Paula that's got a great flow to it. You and Jeffery might be a great song lyric team, never know til you try.
This is a beautiful ballad type of poem.

"Learning to love once again" is such a beautiful experience. Makes you feel alive again, awakened.  The flow of it all took my breath away.

Take Care
