God your pathetic,
How did this become?
With pains anesthetic
your helplessly numb
and what are you thinking
with that self pollution
your constantly drinking
is that a solution?
you wait by the phone
be damned if it rings
so you sit alone
over thinking things
is it at all worth it?
just bury this pain
don’t ever unearth it
its all been in vane
your life, it keeps going
if wanted or not
there’s no shame in knowing
what you haven’t got
so what if she hurt you
why cant you realize
she didn’t dessert you
so open your eyes
you’ve got a great friend
and your letting her go
she’s there ‘till the end
and that’s special you know
but your time together
grows shorter each day
so keep her forever
and lock her away
deep inside your heart
where you always can tell
good things at the start
will always end well

This is a great outlook on a broken relationship Kevin.  You always write with your heart and soul.

Kevin~
Letting go hurts
but holding on sometimes hurts more.

'keep her forever
and lock her away
deep inside your heart'

Sometimes it's about moving on ...
and making sure there are still
good memories to keep.

Hugs, my friend.
