I do not want to dance with you!
I really don't care for this tune!
One must lead as one follows...
I am dizzy and must leave soon!

Slow down! Would you pick up the pace?
I like the words but not the beat!
"I think the rhythm is wrong for you,"
Say my soar and reluctant feet.

No longer swept up by your song!
I'm moving to a different drum!
It's time to turn and face the music?
Where are we dancing to or from?

This torture tango we've become;
May be just fabulous to some.
I cannot feel my feet... so numb...
It could be the coke and cheap rum!

I think I'll just sit this one out,
It could be this room or the smoke;
Could be the tired choreography,
Or living in this same sick joke!

I need to shake you off, shake loose,
Shake these blues and shake my ass!
Shake, shake, shake like a good earthquake...

You may NOT have this dance, I'll PASS!

I know these feelings of needing to break away & feeling swept up and controlled by someone you are involved with romantically...

Time for a solo dance routine or just a big free-style boogie fest!

Nice Poem!

Toddles...
Now I think this is superb!!!!!!!
I'm not just saying that, I'm
                    serious.
The writing was great, but the
              choice of words was so
                   perfect...I am
                 totally impressed!
           I'm a musician, and I can't tell
you how many times I've watched
a couple dance as though they
were on opposite sides of the
          galaxy. Next time that happens,
          I'll remember this poem!!!!!!!!!

I have but one goal in
life.........
To make you smile!
