Memories

I remember your gentle touch
Your warm hand on mine
Your soft lips
I remember your sweet words
Tumbling from your lips
Flowing easily
I remember the look in your eyes
When you looked at me
Into my soul
I remember how you made me feel
Like I was the only one
So very special
It’s easy to stay lost in past days
When times where good
Happy, blissful
I know that I must move forward
Dealing with the pain
Gaining strength
But for now I just want to hide
In the consuming warmth
Of memories.

RosePetals~
It is nice to be able to move forward ...
but, take time to luxuriate in the bubbles of the past from time to time.

Wonderful read, my friend.
