    The Legacy of Spring

     spring's exuberance
  reflected in smiling eyes
   lost in thoughts of you

just a little muse on the things that may contribute to the legend of spring....

I ditto Dark Angel on that...

you have earned the reputation of a haiku legend with so many wonderful haikus... an art I have failed to comprehend... and all so wonderfully done... a true commendable job...

regards to you Jamie,
sudhir

Prometheus~

I do so enjoy
the way you make small words sing
Indeed, joy of spring

Sunny1-- Tis I who thank you; you say the nicest things!

Maree- Sudhir---Thanks so much,,,( a legend eh?,,,hehe)You are both beautiful people who write beautiful poems. Thanks again.

Kit- Thank you for the kindness you always show.

PDV- Isn't it always spring in Venus' eyes?..
---actually this is just part of a greater endeavour that will deal with the rites of spring... ( I myself was smitten in May of 81)...want to do some research??...lol)

Marge-- do-ra-mi-so-----oops...wrong key..lol
thanks so much,, you are sweet as usual.

I loved this, so few words, so much said. I sat here, took a deep breath and could feel love. Thanks,

Wow, this is a beautiful senryu, I love it, it is now one of my favourites that I have ever read and I love how you compare Spring to love, I have always thought of spring as the perfect season for love as well! I look forward to more haikus and senryus by you

Take care,

Prometheus ... spring is not a legend ... as long as poems like this keep it alive

well done
