True Love Lies Where is it that true love lies? Is it somewhere in your eyes? When you tell me I look just fine and it’s said before the wine? Where is it that true love lingers? Somewhere in the touch of fingers? When you know the truth would hurt and with a small white lie you flirt? Do you really tell the truth to me or is fabrication reality when the truth would thus unravel my soul which is not your intent nor goal. Why is it that true love lies? For you say you have no eyes for any other, except me and the falsehood IS reality. So when you look at me do know I feel more than you would show ~ I know each lie within the truth and keep it with my bloom of youth. 1 August 2000 ©Karilea Rilling Jungel |

What a subject to touch upon and with what a panache of finesse... WOW Karilea, this is splendid indeed... Some of the lines remind me of a Dream Theater song that revolves closely around a conversation where the following line is used very effectively "What do you mean reality is immaterial?"
