my American dream ...

my American dream
wakes me without notice
she grabs me by the head
crushing me towards
her bulging breasts
begging my suckle

the milk is sweet
laced with stars and stripes
fresh cream fills my cup
bulbous sacs of gelatinous latte
rich beyond endurance
richer before poorer

the natural laxative
working overtime
as i run to foul
every space i occupy

no more -- race over

somebody burp me

well, Mark, not actually ... i just found out that an offer we put in on a house wasn't accepted and i was thinking about what it must be like to have money you didn't know what to do with (the American dream) ... then i realize that that must not be that great either (hence to malodorous scatological reference at the ending) ... sorry for the cryptology ...

thanks for reading and your kind words ...

Sometimes the American dream is just too rich, and peace doesn't live there...This was a great read!

The real American dream lies deep within your own well adjusted happiness.

mind this time.  I must have been in brain

Cryptic or not (though during the read, I admittedly "hoped" for cryptography) this is expressive and succinctly written ~ Nice.
