Just Once More

I Love the way
Ann touches me
softly
and tenderly.
We're plopped down
in a Vietnamese Restaurant
in the middle of Chinatown
and I'm so intrigued with my sweet Ann
seems as if no one else is around.
She's gotta be an angel
to touch my arm that way.
My mouth is eating spring chicken and rice
but my heart is totally blown away.
It was not an accident
that we met last Valentine's day.
Candy hearts and roses
softened her heart my way.
So every now and then
we relive those happy times
when me and Ann's heart beat as one
once upon a time.
So gently Ann takes my arm
exactly as before
and looks right into my eyes
as if to beg for more.
Then she begins to say those special words
I can't wait to hear just once more.
"Sweetheart, did you write another
of those tender poems for me,
those poems I simply adore?"

Very nicely put James.
Ann is a lucky lady indeed to have one who cares so much.

Write for her dude keep em flowin her way!!!
If you write like this to her everyday then you will have no problem keeping her around.
Your poems come from the heart and it is easy to tell the purity of them. Good read my friend.

how can they resist
the words of love
the passions pen
speaking love to them
With beauty and tenderness

How could anyone say
love is  not true
in light of the words you say
in the passionate verse
with which you play

How could passion die
with words eternal
and beauty in words calls
My love your mine
Till our dieing days

Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen, and down the mountain side
The summer's gone, and all the roses falling
'Tis

I really appreciate all the wonderful remarks...thank you so much.
Marina Ann is the woman with the worlds softest thighs...remember...
She is only a friend and we go out to eat in China Town or to an occasional movie.
I remember when me and Ann watched Magnolia together...a fantastic movie...tender moments we shared.
Anyway Cassanova is the guy that steals all my woman...thats why I remain alone...James

James, the most succulent ambrosia is no sweeter than your verse. This is wonderful.

Hey James, what a lovely poem..
I once had a guy who wrote poems for me...I carry them in my wallet every day, but I could never tell him how much they meant to me...So he finally gave up one me coz I wasn't responding like he wanted me to...
