It was a dark and cold night
as I walked for hours it seemed.
My mind whirling and whirling
not able to think clearly
with the clouds being so black
and hazey above me.
I felt as if the sky had fallen upon my shoulders
and I was getting so heavy falling to the ground.
Trying to hold my head high looking for a glimmer
of rain to fall upon my face to wake me from this
dream.
Yet I walked on not knowing the direction
that I took had lots of bumps and holes to go through
Yet I walked on.

I know not why I did
I felt as if I had been swallowed up by quick sand
not able to breath.

Yet I walked into the night
trying to find the right of way
I met a stranger along the way
He offered me his hand.

He led me into the dawn of day
with the rays a beautiful shimmering crimson
color.

He heard my sorrows without a interruption.
So thankful I was to have him there.
I had all I could bear.
This I know that there are angels unaware
and this was my angel that led me back.

Into yet another day that the birds sing merrily
at my window.

RoseBud~
This is an insightful little piece
that slowly wends its way to a happy ending.

Yes, there are 'Angel's Unaware'
and we are so fortunate when they
come our way.

Nice piece of writing, my friend.

Rosebud,
You have done it again
What wonderful words
And so true
Who else could recognise
Such beautiful truths
Apart from the Angels
And you!

Love is like the mumps.....the older you are, the harder it hits you!

thank you Poutprincess , notlikely2 I'm so glad we do have angels unaware watching over us. The whispering of the winds seems to throw a light hello and everyday is new with the nature that keeps growing day after day so much beauty all around sometimes it's hard to take it all in.
