I was not here when...
    He walked on this earth.
No witness was I to...
    His humble birth.

I did not hold his hand...
as he preached by the sea.
But He's coming back...
    and He's coming for me.

I did not see him...
    raise men from the dead.
I was not in the crowd when...
    the thousands were fed.

I never touched His feet..
    washed them with my hair.
But He's going to meet me...
in the midst of the air.

He's coming back, oh yes...
    He's coming back.
The moon will be blood...
and the sky will be black.

He'll split the sky and...
    take all who are his.
He's coming back...
    I know that He is.

I was not there when...
    He marched up that hill.
When they ordered His death...
and His blood they did spill.

These eyes never saw...
    that old cross of shame.
Though even back then He...
    already knew my name.

I never touched the tomb...
    where His body did lay.
But without a doubt I know...
    He is not there today.

For He left that grave...
    on day number three.
But He's coming back...
    and He's coming for me.

He's coming back, oh yes...
    He's coming back.
The moon will be blood and...
    the sky will be black.

He'll split the sky and...
    take all who are His.
He's coming back...
    I know that He is.

calling them to join

Angel,
I certainly can't figure out how I missed this poem of yours. Blinking again, I guess. A very powerful spiritual writing. Thanks for sharing.

Chrisdt is alive and he is coming back to take that which is his. Hold strong to your faith and convictions and he shall take you with him. Remember, we can do all things through him who gives us strength.
