There is a black bird
with just one wing.
He used to walk
to my house
and sing.
I can't help
but hear those
songs again.

Welcome to Passions, my friend!  This is beautiful - so much feeling in so few lines!  It takes me back to a loving sorrowful place of memory ...

Hi there and welcome!!   This is a beautiful little poem you have here.
