Heaven or hell ? Ė the choices we all must make, full version, (part 1 and part 2).

My eyes are blind,
My mind is numb,
My soul is down and blue,
Thereís nothing left for me to do,
I feel so confused,
My heart is split between two worlds,
Torn straight down through the mid,
The cherubs stopped there holy song,
And flew away and hid .
The mist has come,
In clouds above,
The blanket covers me,
The truth is gone,
This canít be love,
Thatís come to set me free .
Angels guard the silent route,
Up to the glowing gate,
I canít let temptation hamper me,
Or Iíll never reach my fate .
But what is this,
I have a doubt,
Growing in my head,
Donít make me chose,
Which road to take,
Or Iíll never get it said .

My strikes have all been wasted,
Itís the bottom of the ninth,
The bowlerís spinning wildly,
And soís my heavy mind,
This is it,
Itís gone to far,
Itís now a do or die,
I wish that I could end it all,
With one defining cry,
A call for good,
A call for right,
My vision is impaired,
The bases are all loaded,
The strong ball takes a curve,
Itís over in a millisecond,
My life,
The do or die,
At least I had a nice big swing,
My best,
A poxy try .

Wow, Tom, what a comparison!  Wonderful
poem -- with a twist for an ending.

I hope whatever is tempting you, doesn't win.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your kind words, I am just finding lots of desisions that I have to make at the moment, but I know that if I go to low, I can at least go out with a bang .
