Open your arms to my heart
Let me feel the comfort there
A caress unto our soul as we
Live this day without a care

Only once let me see the spark
Of Love within darkest night
Of Light within midnight orbs
Seasoned bliss – second sight

Clouds and pain, touch us not
Amidst a day so truly made
For hearts entwined in as much
For love defined in a single touch

Hold my hand inside your own
Feel it’s fit that matches mine
Fingers laced – made to fit
Each molded crease, each time kissed line

A tender brush of velvet lips
A whispered sigh – a simple touch
Embraced in hope, in faith, and strength
As time itself stands still for us

Open your arms to my heart
Let me feel the comfort there
A caress unto our soul as we
Live our life without a care

May I never be too busy to help another's load,
Then I'll be drinking from the saucer 'cause my cup has overflowed.

Isn't it amazing how carefree you can feel when you share such a feeling of caring with another.  Beautiful words, dear friend.  I am dancing with you on these.

What can I say, Satiate...wonderful and beautiful...you keep outdoing yourself each time...for this, and for many other reasons, I am very, very proud of you.

Satiate beautiful poem, especially loved these lines.....

A tender brush of velvet lips
A whispered sigh – a simple touch
Embraced in hope, in faith, and strength
As time itself stands still for us

Satiate, haven't seen you post in here for awhile.  I really enjoy your poetry and must say "Carefree" was worth waiting for.
"For love defined in a single touch"
That's a nice line, and i believe it is possible.
Nice writing!

Oh, I think I'm in love!!!

Just teasing, but your poem whispered softly and bespeaks a tender heart that surely deserves to be held! Wow!

You didn't tell me that you had a brand new piece up for me to read..  You know how often I don't get to come here.  I love it.  Keep writing like this.  Now this is heart felt if I have ever read a piece. Wow, now this made my heart tingle. Thank you!

Love,
Lady
