Why why dare to dream when all your dreams can be shattered with a single blow life is unkind to those who dream can i lock my mind to keep them out why dare to care caring can only cause you pain with a single word your heart can break tears follow caring can i lock my heart and seal it tight why dare to want lonliness and yearning are all you get a body never satisfied passion consuming your soul can i lock my desires and never feel again why dare to hope spirits raised only to tumble down to sore and crash again and again leaving you hopeless can i lock my wishes away and forget why dare to be to exist in a world that is unkind why take that risk the pain is so great can i lock my soul and cease to be why dare to be me to dream, to care, to hope to desire, to be...why? because someone is calling and i can hear a soul who is searching....for me Catherine |
