I swallow hard A memory scarred The demons have their way I reach for you From the dark I knew Unanswered yet today My mind goes blank My heart beat grows faint The love lite fades to gray I bite my tongue So the words won't come Then watch you walk away But I bounce back From good-bye attacks Though often it takes days Work like money doesn't matter, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching... |
