i'm sorry if this be too dumb for yuh i likes dumb poems is all

What's the age-old sound of just one hand clapping?
Bout the stupidest question yuh ever heard?
What is the sound of a tree dying in the woods?
If there’s no preacher around to give kind words

What’s the sound of a poem on page fifty-three?
If the reader never reaches there for a look
I've read every poem there ever was written
And I died an old saint in the time it took

What is the sound of many men peeing
Go to a ball game at the men’s bathroom stalls
If you had no money for vacationing yet
You’ll think you’re honeymooning at Niagra Falls

One more stupid ponder I’ll leave you with this
What do dancing icons do when no one’s around?
Does that make you fear more than just asking?
If trees fall in the woods, do they make a sound?

Walt: Thinking and peeing???  Much to introspective for this time of the morning, so I'll sit and think on it...

ROFL!!  Walt you're too much. Dumb? I wouldn't say this was dumb. Ever see those "deep thoughts" on Saturday Night Live?
That's what this reminds me of!

Love the niagra thing in the men's stall, too funny! Thanks for the good laugh this morning walt-a-roo!

Walt, this is TOO funny!  Reminds me of a short poem my late brother Kirk wrote:

"You say I'm dumb, that I can't think.
In fact, you even say I stink.
Well, you're half right, and you're half not -
I do my thinking on the pot!"

Oh Walt...you are indeed a philosopher...
what an incredible guru are you...
W.O.W.--it suits you--deep, like still water.
