.gif) Slashing my heart without thought Not one drop of blood is shed Words flow forth....boiling hot Not one blister does embed Break my will so it won't fly Not one single bone is set Crush my dreams and watch them die There's no hope to resurrect A painful blow to my pride No bruise to mark the impact Smashing the tales that I confide Of the pieces....I've lost track Every scar held within me I'll be cautious not to pause Careful not to let you see To save you the pain you cause  "Pooh's Update"Shane is still in the hospital fighting two infections, one in the fatty tissue and they suspect there is an infection in the fluid that he is retaining as well. He continues to take massive doses of pain meds and antibiotics and has been taken off the transplant list until the infection is gone....keep praying friends....Thank you. Wow... I'm ina bit of a hurry just skimming through trying not to miss too many poems. =) But wow.. I just had to stop and type a sec., and tell you how wonderful this was. Thanks for sharing. I truly hope and pray for you that this process is healing for you...as it is for me...we have talked about this...I know this comes hard for you...I want it to be good for you...never at the expense of you. I promise it gets easier...once your trust your self with "you". thoughts and prayers with you and Shane, and his family. take care sweets, jm Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders And it makes me want to touch you there. And the light in your eyes makes me feel Like there's something much better out there Something kind... WhiteNite* Thank you so much...this was very hard to write and your words mean alot to me. Janet* Went there....and lived to tell  You said I could...thank you. When it's written and the words are looking back at you from the paper they aren't quite so "scary"....I'm sure you know what I mean. *Butterflies First of all this was an exceptional poem. It was full of such powerfully intense emotions that also took my breath away. You capture beautifully in words the things i don't dare say but feel. Thank you! My thoughts continue for Shane and his family as well as for you. Marge* Thank you and thank you Rich* Thank you for reading and for your prayers...I've posted an earlier poem and the post is listed as "Passions Family...see what your prayers have done" or something to that effect...it will tell you everything that everyone else here knows about Shane...my pooh Amy* You are a sweet one!! Thank you so much and I thank you for putting in a good word with your gaurdian angel  she's sure looking after you sweetie!Hoot*Thank you so much, as a nurse I'm sure you can relate on a level that most cannot...you are an amazing person to care for those that are in this position...God Bless you Hoot P.S. I received the honor of meeting the mother of the young boy that passed away and donated his liver to Shane a year ago, So I now have seen the other side of the story...I shared the poems here about Shane and noticed today that she had posted on the first poem that I posted for Shane...I was deeply moved by this woman and her family that gave so much and continue to do so. < !signature--> Hold me for yesterday Kiss me for tomorrow But love me for today.
