If my life was corked in a bottle
reflections of good and bad times
I'd savour, reminisce and enjoy
as I would with any fine wine

Sip by sip I'd go back and remember
the past as I lived for tomorrow
enjoying the taste of all that I am
learning from joys and the sorrow

But you can't view life from the past
And I believe in the words that I say
I know when the moon goes to sleep
the dawn rises to wish me good day

My love of smiles and sunshine
will always be something I share
to give some wonderful moments
the sad ones I'll just grin and bear

I've promised myself that I'll deliver
all the hopes and dreams in my head
as there's only one chance for the living
and I can't say I tried till I'm dead

I made a promise to myself these past few days that whatever the prognosis I was gonna wow life and now I have it in black and white, or to be precise, blue and white..   I guess you just can't keep a rainbow from smiling - happily!

i liked this.  it's true, you only have one chance to lead a happ life.  nothing's worth being unhappy for.

on an offnote:
how did you get your picture on here?

Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit!!!   Rainbow, if you're smiling, I'm smiling. This is wonderful! I'm so happy to see you again. You have been missed!

Hey! Nice to 'read' you again.... Not sure what the prognosis is...you didn't really tell us...but I'm glad that you are smiling.
That must be the reason that the sun is shining brighter her today..

RainbowGirl~
God works in wonderful ways.
You are a very special lady.
Now if you REALLY want to smile ...
slap some jam on Balladeer's biscuit ! !

The thought of Balladeer's buttered butt makes me shudder. *G* But it sure is good to see your smile around here, Rainbow... and awfully nice to see that Mistle-Toe guy reminding us of his existence. (and begging for a rebuking from ME! LOL)
