*This is a poem I wrote for my dear friend Steve on his Birthday* Steve, On your birthday... When thinking of you many words come to mind. And here are just a few - A brother, a friend, a father, a protector... Someone who cares, someone who loves, someone who listens... Someone who is always there, even at the toughest times... A mentor, an advisor, a confidant... Someone who always points you in the right direction, even when it hurts... A comedian, a Ham!, someone who’s always great for laughs... Special, loving, kind, patient, forgiving, and so much more... Just Steve – the most meaningful role of all. |
