You stir in me
A thousand echoes
Of a thousand kisses
And a thousand tomorrows

Emotions in long decay
Ever by slow degrees
Never have I felt this way
You move me

You unlock in me
So much of desire
So much pain
In which we conspire

Memories betray innocence
Ever by slow degrees
Unafraid of the consequence
You move me

You instill in me
A taste for life renewing
A taste from depths
Of which is my undoing

Feelings long kept secret
Ever by slow degrees
Whatever it is, you do it
You move me

JML, as always my friend, you have spoken to me. . .I'm sure now that we were brothers in some other life. . . because you always seem to speak to me in ways that I have never known. . .

I can hear the many echoes. . . they stir in my mind. . .

Excellent work, my friend. . .

"You stir in me
A thousand echoes
Of a thousand kisses"

What a beautiful, moving poem. This line, alone, touched me, to be sure. So tender, your writing here.

man...i just love being right (smile)
(it dont happen often) lol

cant deny these poetic brown eyes... *S*
stalking you always...
your jm

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.

Argh...sounds like you're in that first vulnerable stage of love...when everything seems so darn perfect.  (sigh)  Been so long since I've been there, I can't remember how it feels, to have your heart out there on a limb...thanks for reminding me how wonderful that vulnerability is.  Beautiful poem that definately *moves* me!

Thanks poet femme, but this poem had no bearing on my personal life at all. If you only knew the stage of love i was actually in.
