  Loves

loves we find along the way
down dusty roads
amid the ghosts of laughter
phantom tears
some we keep as companions to the heart
others go their way
fading into the mists of the forgotten past
gold and rust
diamonds and glass
trying to hold on
through our fingers pass
taking pieces of us with them
thieves of the soul
burned by their desire
or left cold as december starlight
memories etched in sand
images drawn in steel
names we can`t remember
others the touch we still feel
so embrace the here and now
breathe in your loves
and expel your fears
and make a place for them in your heart
these loves we hold so dear

very cool poem..
excellent imagery and well written out thoughts here. very good job...
showed both sides of love...

 ...every moment of every day...
your still with me in every way.
every poem and song...
every rhyme and verse...
your still here...like a beautiful curse.
