Things are growing everywhere Things turn green, and are reborn But I, I endure an eternal death A death worse than any other As I watch everything else Thriving The spring sun shines Giving warmth and life To everything else But I, I am under a shadow So I get no warmth, no love As I watch everything else Thriving I have hardly begun to live! I am the flower That has barely begun to bloom But how can a flower bloom Under such a dark shadow?
